'Que Barbara' is Barbara Snow’s unique Band. Formed in 1989, it has grown in popularity
ever since with it’s unique blend of hybrid Latin style combining the flavours of
Brazil, Columbia, Cuba and Africa. Samba and bossanova will also feature at your
event. 'The Observer' music critic, David Gelly, wrote, "The music of Que Barbara
is a wonderful mix of opposites, excitingly hot yet serenely cool, stirring and vivacious
but with a calm precision at it’s centre" ... "This is the essence of great Latin
music, and it is rare to hear it achieved with such poise and grace". He goes on
to describe Barbara’s singing, playing and compositions as, "... all aspects of a
truly original and accomplished artist – a genuinely fresh musical voice"
