DisCovered is a versatile, energetic party band ready to get the dance floor moving
and screaming with an extensive repertoire including classic songs from the likes
of the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Chic and Abba, plus more modern hits from The
Killers, U2, Duffy and Kings of Leon. This is a band that has their heart set on,
not only to provide for crowds, but to have a good time doing so as well.
Simon Brett and John Neighbour formed the band in 2006 as an alternative covers band
to play London's rock venues and pubs. The idea would allow them play songs that
they loved, regardless of commercial success, and without the demand of what is expected
of hired entertainment. The project was also on a time limit of no more than a year.
This, of course, never happened and after several successful gigs and personnel changes
later, the band has its definitive line-up with Adam Flanagan and Vicky Crouch fronting
Vicky's contribution of mixing the alternative song list along with dance floor fillers
has been an ingredient that has helped with the band's success, shaping the band’s
potential and flexibility in the process. Her abilities as a strong and flawless
vocalist have helped perform classic rock anthems by the likes of The Who and Led
Zeppelin, plus giving pop anthems by the likes of Tina Turner and Chaka Khan a breath
of fresh air. Along with the power and tone of Vicky’s stage presence, she is a captivating
ball of energy ready to explode for all to be caught in the radius of a DisCovered
Though of course all members of the band have given their own unique approach. John's
influences of classic rock & blues adds the taste and dynamic effects whilst the
rhythm section of Simon and Adam is one that pushes the boundaries of rock and dance
music, where grooving to the sounds is not a option, its a must!
